RPII Measurement Services
To ensure maximum protection for workers and the public, all workplaces licensed by the RPII are required to measure and monitor levels of exposure to artificial ionising radiation.
In addition, workplaces exposed to potentially harmful levels of natural radiation, such as radon are also required to use approved measurement services. The RPII works with air operators who fly above 8000 metres to help ensure that air crew are monitored and protected from harmful cosmic radiation.
