How to Apply
Applying for a licence
Before you acquire any irradiating apparatus or radioactive materials, you must obtain a licence from the RPII.
A licence application pack can be obtained by contacting the administration staff of the Regulatory Service of the RPII. This will include details of application and licence fees.
The application and licence fees are set out in S.I. No. 654 of 2007 and based upon criteria determined by the RPII.

The RPII may ask you to supply additional information at any stage during the licensing process.
You must apply for a licence at least one month before the proposed acquisition of any irradiating apparatus or radioactive substance – though it is advisable to apply as early as possible.
A licence will be issued once the RPII is satisfied with your application.
